WHY THE LIBERIA BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY EXTENSION CENTERS?
The Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary, through its expansion program, has envisioned establishing satellite campuses in the rural communities of Liberia in order to provide sound theological education to rural pastors and church workers who cannot afford to travel to Monrovia to enroll at LBTS due to their active engagements with their local churches, institutions, and others. In an effort to satisfy the need, the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary Administration resolved to establish these extension centers.
WHAT ARE OUR OBJECTIVES?
- To provide sound and contextual theological education.
- To develop Christian servant leaders.
- To focus on spiritual formation.
- To equip church leaders to correctly expose the Word of truth.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
The mission of LBTS Extension Centers is to provide contextualized theological studies to meet the growing need of our rural churches, and to produce competent servant leaders who will be able to address the problems and challenges of their local churches for greater impact that will result into holistic church growth.
